DRC Steel Return Idlers are a commonly used roller style installed on many large material bulk handling conveyor systems. These conveyor systems are utilised throughout a diverse range of different and unique Australian industry sectors and are required to be supported with quality spare parts and components allowing them to nominally be run on a continuous basis.

One of the most common conveyor applications for this style of roller is for the structural support of the belt on the underside run on the conveyor frame.

The Return Roller in a nominal configuration can be built and supplied in a quantity of industry standard roller diameters and belt width face lengths. In support of customers who have conveyor structures with unique structural dimensions, DRC offers the specialised service to build the roller face length, shaft overall length and shaft bracket locating features to suit each customer's specific conveyor roller bolt hole mounting dimensions.

In further support of our customer's specific return roller requirements, DRC can also offer a variety of customer specified operating features in the construction of a requested Steel Return Idler set. These alternative features can include a heavier guage roller wall thickness, larger centre shaft diameter, matched heavier duty ZZC3 sealed roller bearings, labyrinth lubrication seal and FRAS dust seals to suit the specific customer shaft diameter nominated.

The Steel Return Idler / Roller can also be supplied as a complete ready to install assembly, with the inclusion of a pair of hot dipped galvanised DRC  9000 series Return Idler Brackets to suit a 10mm x 14mm Across Flats roller shaft locking dimensions.
