A Trough Trainer (Inline) is used on the load side of the conveyor and can be supplied as a fully fitted unit ready to be bolted as a complete structure to the conveyor frame.

The unit incorporates a set of 3 matched steel belt rollers to suit the conveyor belt trough angle, roll back height and belt width. The trough frame structure is mounted on a roller bearing swivel base that allows the trough roller assembly in the frame, to track either way from a nominal central position in a horizontal plane, which assists with guiding and supporting the trough belt-form across the full width of the roller layout.

The trainer can be supplied in either an offset or inline configuration to suit single or multi-directional belt operations. To assist further with the guiding of the belt the trainer frame also incorporates a pair of belt guide rollers that are mounted to suit the customer's belt width requirements.

These guide rollers action against the side edges of the conveyor belt and further assist with keeping the belt centrally on the trough when the frame has a degree of swivel offset in its operation.
